The WS/RCC of Lawrence County has provided shelter, education, and advocacy services to domestic violence victims since 1980. In 1988, WS/RCC expanded services to victims of sexual assault. WS/RCC reaches more than 12,000 people annually through its comprehensive program and 1,300 through its counseling service.

Services of A.L. Brourman Associates, Inc. were retained to conduct a feasibility study and a capital campaign to construct a new $2 million center in New Castle, Pennsylvania.
