The Hillman Cancer Center of the University of Pittsburgh Cancer Institute stands on a two-acre site on the campus of UPMC Shadyside. This outstanding hospital, known for advanced, patient-centered care, became a part of UPMC health system in 1997.

The Shadyside Hospital Foundation is seeking to raise $25 million in private funds to help build the $104 million facility. In recognition of a generous gift of $10 million from Henry L. Hillman and the Hillman Foundations, the facility will be named Hillman Cancer Center.
