Presbyterian SeniorCare
was chartered in 1928 to serve the long-term care and supportive housing
needs of the regional elderly. From a single, small residence for eight
Presbyterian women, located in Glenshaw, Pennsylvania, PSC has evolved
into a 50-facility supportive housing and long-term care system serving
nearly 7,000 older adults annually in ten southwestern Pennsylvania counties.
It has pioneered the "Continuum of Care" concept, to offer many housing,
care and lifestyle options to the region's large and diverse senior population.
It serves older persons of all religions and ethnic and socioeconomic
backgrounds, providing significant subsidies to those in financial need.
Its various forms of housing and care currently include:

Services of A.L. Brourman
Associates, Inc. were retained to conduct a feasibility study and a capital
campaign for the construction of a $10 million Residential Alzheimer's
Unit at Presbyterian SeniorCare's Washington, Pennsylvania campus.
