Pace School was established 32 years ago for children ages 5 to 15 with emotional and behavioral disturbances, with pervasive developmental delays/autism, and with neurological impairments.

Pace's students:

• Are in elementary or middle school, and range in age from 5 to 14;
• Have the diagnosis of Emotional Disturbance, Pervasive Developmental Delay, or Autism;
• May also have disorders such as ADD, ADHD and/or other psychiatric diagnoses;
• Are referred from more than 50 school districts in southwestern Pennsylvania;
• Represent the diversity of the area.

Services of A. L. Brourman Associates, Inc. were retained to conduct a feasibility study and $3.5 million capital campaign to purchase and renovate a former school building for relocation of Pace School.
